I've always written. Writing chose me. Who in their right mind would want to be a writer? Evelyn Waugh's "Vile Bodies" inspired me to become a gossip columnist, for David Bailey's late "Ritz" Newspaper. While I 'bitched' for "Ritz", I moonlighted as a freelance film critic and diary writer on Fleet Street, in the Good Old Days of machine gun sounding manual typewriters, chain-smoking, liquid lunches and nervous breakdowns. Inbetween deadlines, I've produced two novels: FRANTIC, a book about the early Seventies, and CRUSHED, an illustrated Young Adult novel, both published by Eiworth Publishing. WILLING TO DIE FOR IT, my biography on Dr Sammy Lee is published by Murray Print. Am currently working on novel number three.
