I have traveled to forty-seven states in the U.S. and have been horse trekking in ten states and on five continents. I was a wrangler in Cody WY for four summers, thus my knowledge of cowgirls and the west. I have owned and ridden horses since I was a child and trained horses for the past thirty years, thus my knowledge of horses.
I presently own and train Arabian horses.
In most recent book, The DAYES of Wyoming, Mar 2010, I combined my love of horses and my love of Wyoming. This historic novel features horse trainer, Bertha, and mountain man, Charlie Daye; their adventures take place during the late 1800s to early 1900s in northern Wyoming.
My book, "Horse Tails by Shasta", Aug 2008, is a children's illustrated book. A precocious horse named Shasta tells his life's story in this humorous, colorful book for ages 4-9.
In "Horse Tails by Mookie the Mustang" , Aug 2009, Mookie tells of his growing up in the wild and his numerous adventures until he becomes adopted. The book is colorfully illustrated for horse lovers of any age.
"Cowgirl Days", May 2008, is a fictional contemporary western and sequel to "So You Wanna be a Cowgirl", continuing a lady wrangler's adventures in Montana and Wyoming, along with pack trips into the Bridger-Tetons and Yellowstone.
