Join animal book author Diana L. Guerrero at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at UCLA this April.

San Bernardino County, California. County residents and visitors  

are invited to join local author Diana L. Guerrero and other members of the Inland Empire California Writers Club at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival on the UCLA campus on April 24^th and 25^th.

If you plan to venture into the weekend jungle of bibliophiles keep our eyes open for Guerrero in her safari hat covered with animals. She says she is trying to tame things down, but her book is going wild. When asked about it Guerrero said, “The book has regional stories from counties like Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino. People love the stories and the word of mouth has spread. Fans keep me touring around southern California and I have a great time meeting them at different events like the festival.”  

Guerrero’s book, What Animals Can Teach Us about Spirituality has attracted more than just local attention, large newspapers all over the nation have discussed the book and the text is now being distributed in the UK and Canada. The animal adventure blends intriguing stories of animals, the human-animal bond, and the secrets of animal personalities.

If you can’t find this jungle clad female wandering around the festival, stop by (booth 629) to pick up a copy from her publisher, then visit the California Writers Club (booth 917) at 10:30am on April 24th to meet her and other California writers from around the state.

Guerrero is an active member of the Inland Empire Chapter of the California Writers Club (CWC). The CWC is a group whose origins date back to the turn-of-the-century literary movement in the San Francisco Bay area. This October they will celebrate their 95th anniversary.
