This is a precis I did in 12th grade about Sisyphus

Sisyphus is punished to the hopeless labor of rolling a rock up a slope, which makes him an absurd hero.  An absurd hero is not one until they become aware of their pointless task.  Sisyphus becomes aware of his task each time he goes back down the slope to roll the rock back up.  Sorrow for Sisyphus begins when he faces the task of rolling the rock up the hill; joy is when he finishes the ascent to the top of the slope. Happiness and absurdity are inseparable.  Absurdity is nothing without happiness and happiness is nothing without absurdity.  While a person is involved in an absurd task, they contemplate the numerous actions in their life that make up their fate.
