A FORMER soldier strangled his girlfriend, cut her up and ATE her before jumping to his death.
A suicide note on Zackery Bowen led cops to the couple’s apartment and the remains of Addie Hall, 27.
They found her charred head in a saucepan on the hob, her hands and feet in another.
The rest of her body was in the fridge of the flat over a voodoo shop.
Delivery man Bowen said in his letter that he strangled Hall in the bath before cutting her up, police said.
Chief Anthony Canatella of New Orleans Police said: “I’m 46 years in the force, it’s not easy to see a human body wasted like that.”
Bowen, who plunged to his death from a New Orleans hotel, wrote in the note: “This is not accidental. I had to take my own life to pay for the one I took.”
Friends said Bowen, who was in his 20s, served in the US army in Iraq and Afghanistan
How grizzly, and hard to fathom! Can't help but think...is this a case of two more victims of the War on Terror? When we put our service men/women in a position to see bodies blown apart, dismembered body parts landing on them...only a tormented mind could understand.
