Welcoming C. A. Webb's art exhibit into the Mississippi State Hospital

Cyrus A. Webb, a local independent artist, will be here on campus on February 1, 2000 to hang his artwork in the Auditorium (Building 38)

Webb, who has enjoyed a total of nine years standardized instruction in the arts, has been honored with various awards for his creative talents in both writing and poetry. In 1990 and 199, the National Association of Poetry recognized him as one of their Golden Poets, publishing two of his poems in their annual anthology.

In 1996, he began C. A. Webb Enterprises, a business which specializes in private bookkeeping, writing, and art. "Reflections of You," a subsidiary of this business, was created in August 1998 and became the trademark of his new art collection that focused on the colorless trait of emotion. Webb has displayed this collection and others at libraries, schools, museums and other public establishments, and has offered assistance to non-profit organizations.
