C. A. Webb recognized by Rankin County Chamber of Commerce as the Artist of the Month for October 2001. This makes him a contender for the coveted honor of Artist of the Year of 2001

Cyrus Webb, who lives in Brandon, has been visiting and working with the schools for the past 4 years. He works mostly with schools in Jackson, since his studio is located there, but has worked with Richland High School in Rankin County. He encourages the students to follow their dreams in the field of art. He reads poetry and teaches them to draw self-portraits. Mr. Webb has published 3 books of poetry and in October (2001) will have his autobiography MASQUERADE published. He also shows his art and has poetry readings at these events.
