Velvet antler is most strongly associated with the kidney meridian which includes the kidneys themselves as well as the adrenal glands. These glands produce a wide range of hormones with complex activities which include regulating the body's response to stress, sugar metabolism and directly controlling the reproductive hormone production of the gonads.
