Homeschool daughters Inspire middle-grade to young-adult Book Trilogy.

Sometimes Roy Edwards has to calm down his students, but not very often, his two daughters are generally quite attentive.

"They're good kids and very studious in the attention to their studies," said Edwards, homeschool teacher and father of both 5th and 2nd grade girls. "But that day was quite different in spring of 2005, when this all began."

This year marks the fifth year that Edwards has been teaching homeschool. The oldest child started 1st grade in 2003 and was initially taught by her Mom. But upon returning home, Edwards assumed the full task of teaching and continues to do so through the present.

"Our girls are very creative and it was by both of their inspirations that the idea for a children's book series first came to mind," Edwards continues, "During that day in 2005 amid an eerie spring thunderstorm, our oldest suddenly suggested a story about a medieval peasant boy. Our youngest then added, 'Hey Daddy, how about 'Lord of the Rings' meets 'Harry Potter' that would be a good one'"

Needless to say, I was hooked!

So you ask, who and what is Eafin Lokdore?

Eafin Lokdore is an ordinary medieval, peasant boy who lives in a small hamlet within an old widow's house. Little does he know that his life is about to change irrevocably when he stumbles upon an age-old threat to their Kingdom. In order to save their homeland, he is soon being apprenticed by the aged-sage Methusass, the Kingdom’s Master Magician. Eafin has survived his parent’s earlier deaths and now at age fifteen must come face to face with the evil sorcerer Dredmon who destroyed them. This very action which is required for fulfilling Eafin’s destiny may soon come to cost him his very life.
