Why Some of Us Get Some of What We
Want, But Not All of What We Want) (by
Susan James)

He Got The Big Black Bear (Manifesting Skills)
(Why Some of Us Get Some of What We Want, But Not
All of What We Want) (by Susan James)

I stopped by to see a friend who was expecting me. She wasn't home
and had left a note on the kitchen counter; "Max got a 250 pound
black bear! He's so excited! I've gone to take pictures."

For hunters in this area, the big black bear is The Prize. It's what they
all want. However, the story gets better.

If you're a hunter, you know that you enter the woods carrying no
scent on yourself. No scented deodorant, no scented bath soap. The
hunter doesn't want the prey sensing company in the woods by
pretty smells.

As I later got the full story from my friend, she went on to say; "Max
was working cattle all day, smelled of Lysol, but decided to go up
and sit in the woods anyway. As he was sitting there, first a  turkey
walked by near him, and then he saw something larger looming. His
heart began racing, it was The Big Black Bear.!"

When I first read the note on the kitchen counter, my mind went into
the mode it always goes into, which is understanding why he got the
prize that he wanted. I understood exactly why he had this major
event in his life, as well as why he doesn't have other things in his life
that he says he would like to have.

What does Max do that allowed him to win the prize of The Big Black
Bear? (Answer) He sits and watches those hunting shows on TV
constantly and consistently. His wife has a separate TV that she
watches 'her' shows on.

In addition to watching hunting shows in most of his free time, he
also hunts every year, every season, and teaches others to hunt. He's
very skilled in hunting. He loves his guns. He respects his guns. He
cares for his guns. He absolutely loves to hunt and loves all of the
tools of the game.

In addition to his success at deer and turkey hunting, he also has
hunted cougar. A full stuffed cougar is now of course in my friends
home, and soon also The Big Black Bear. (Where she's gonna put that
is THE question!)

Max is a happy and successful hunter.

Max is not happy and successful in other areas of his life.
Max is self-employed and is very gifted in his work. But his work
does not excite him, and his life and lifestyle are not what he'd prefer.

Max quite often says: "We can't have nuthin'."

As someone who's self-employed and good at what he does, Max
doesn't enjoy it. He's a good guy, generous to others and has many
great and wonderful qualities, except he doesn't understand or care to
understand how his words and thoughts affect his life. He doesn't
care about understanding that if he took baby steps to do some of the
things that have made him a very successful hunter, and applied them
to the other areas of his life, he would find some wonderful changes
taking place.

However, Max couldn't give a lick as to what actually makes up the
'content' of and behind words and thoughts.

If Max would do the same things that helped him get The Big Black
Bear, and doing so contrary to the smell of the woods-law, he would
have the same level of success in other areas of his life. He would
have success in his finances and health. He would also be able to go
on many of the hunting trips that he salivates over as he watches his
hunting shows.

What is the first thing that Max would need to be willing to do if he in
deed is wanting the same level of success in all areas of his life, as he
has in hunting?

Step 1:
Be willing to understand how things really work and how we get what
we get.
Step 2:
There is no Step 2 for Max, if he's not willing to do Step 1.

A question to ask ourselves is  why doesn't the mojo of what makes
Max a successful hunter, carry over into the other areas of his life? It's
great that he's a happy hunter, but his lifestyle has remained the same,
contrary to what he says he wants, for many years.

What's that about? Do you know?

If we want our lives to be better than they are, and on a consistent
basis, then Step 1 is the most important step...Ever.
