Kirkus review and my Felliniesque touch

The reviewer of Kirkus found between other absurdities in my book Twisted Avenues, that he calls saga, the description of a Felliniesque episode, that surprised and impressed me. I was not aware of it, and was a pleasant surprise. Me Felliniesque?!

"Well, did you want to sea the bears?" Tom said.
Gray granite cliffs cut our way. Squeezed between them was a small opening to a cave. Next to the cave was a cabin, wide, but not bigger than a dog house. Ithad a thatched roof and dark smoke rose from the chimney.
Tom smiled, but remained quiet. He had to bend to knock on the door. The man at the door was a midget, Tom squatted and they shook hands. His name was  Nicu Balea, but his nickname was Piticu. He was not taller than I but he was tremendously muscular. He had the head of a bull and the face of an orangutan with a friendly smile. He talked like an educated man. 
"People say that Piticu is mean," said Piticu.
"Cruel,'" said Tom.
Piticu took off his cap, threw it onto the ground, and stepped on it.
"Because I am a beggar tt the city street corner, but I have my own business and make my own money. People pay me beacuse they enjoy the show. They enjoy what they see because they are cruel. I only make a living."
"Well, at least you don't feels bad about it. But I wish that you would let the bears free  and find another occupation. You could do it, you are smart."
The roaring turned louder by the minute. Piticu took them around his hut, to a cave that was also a cage.
Behind the bars were two brown bears with huge iron rings in their noses attached with a chain to a bar. He let out one of the bears, made music with a flute while he draggged the bear accross burning charcoal.The bear cried and kept hopping. He made music with the flute, and then sang...
