The same voices again and again, filling our ears.

The Voice of the Past

In 1941 and 42 we learned in school the speeches of the socialist and of the communist party leaders. The leaders used to say :

“People of the world," The International will build the human race. "

After that period, we saw the attack of the Nazis everywhere. Last week the same sound came from Jerusalem, from Berlin, from Paris, and from London. The masses were assembled to hear the same voices again and again. This was scary and awakened in me memories which I thought gone for ever.  Did anyone feel the same?

I've, again, been hearing this for more than a few years, now...and it's frightening. Same message now disguised with fluffy spins. Sadly many are beguiled and listening...

Yes, I felt it also. What a world we live in now. Not too good a one.

Perhaps we, the dumb rats, are back in Hamelin and there comes a new piper which will not get his pay and then....
Yes, I felt the same.
