We wake in the morning with our minds racing. The day's activities are planned and the appointments are booked. We rush our children off to school; we jump in our cars and commute to work. It is at this point i wonder if any of us has stopped to give thanks for the opportunity to live another today; to take another breath and rejoice in this gift of life. The sad answer is most of us don't. We've thrown ourselves into this marathon that never ends. The demanding lifestyles we live drain the emotional batteries, causing neglect in our relationships and spritual vitality. We distract ourselves by looking at others, wanting to prove something to our critics and our competiton. Many of us are so set on succeeding and getting ahead of someone else that we eventually lose our way. We can never win this race of life when we have no idea where we are going. If we continually concentrate on ourselves, with no goals and no willingness to help others, we will lose our motivation and direction towards the finish line. LIfe will be a constant battle until you regain the focus needed to re-direct your life's path. We need to run this race with perseverance, faith and love. Start today by mapping out a different course that will take you to the finish line in a more peaceful and inspiring way.
This is something that we already know....just sometimes need a good kick in the ankle to see how things get so wrong due to neglect or being blind by our choices... LIfe goes so quickly, and in the race of life...it's gone in a puff of air that blows out the candle within us... can't redo it... like the old saying goes..."we only have one life to live...." well... duh... let's live it....to it's fullness... :-)) thanks, lindalaw

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
