The Responsibility of Influencing Others
During the election months which went by, both the left and the right, with the means of debates, speeches, promotion and media, tried to change our point of view, not only to convert us to their perception of life, but also to confirm and to reassure themselves that their belief is right.
Once the election was over, I found out that every one of the debaters was right, but no one convinced me with his arguments. I was asked about my opinion and my answer was and is:
“The human being has to evolve through his own strength and not through the intervention of anyone who has his own agenda or conviction, unless the one who listens has reached a spiritual and intellectual level at which he cannot advance anymore in his thoughts and asks for help. Only then the one of whom the question was asked can give help to the other.
In fact, the people who are convinced of their religious or ideological beliefs, can help others in their belief only if they were asked for and are prepared to take full responsibility for their views”.

Very little substance about what they will do, but a lot what the rivals couldn't do, wouldn't do, not going to do...leaving us with that bewilderment to go to the polls not knowing zilch of the candidates position and getting the choice of electing the less devil.
I do will like a forbidding law to any kind of negative talks about each other, innuendos, leakages, but a complete information from each candidate of their position, resolve, hows and when, and, when office to talk the truth and only but the truth, showing respect to the people that put their faith on who they thought was the "right man"
