I was also, rejected by 6 book companies who were interested, then told me the book was not commercially viable. Several companies were scams. Now I am just waiting for a "catch". It seems too good to be true . Or perhaps, I am in a state of shock. I do know this is only the step, getting my foot in the door and nothing else. After editing, they have to sell the book and the way the economy is, it is very difficult for a new writer. The big houses are playing it careful and relying on their rosters of bestelling writers to keep them going. I know my chances are slim. We'll see how it goes. I am currently waiting for a contract from an agent.

I still keep the dream. Without one, I for one, find it difficult to move ahead. I just refuse to dream "big"!
