Spiritual Dialog
In principle a dialog between two persons is meant to facilitate the exchange of views or perceptions, provided that mutual respect is maintained. The parties have an obligation not to impose their view, without giving the other a chance to cooperate, and must be ware not to intimidate the other one.
The human being has to evaluate a situation through his own conviction and not through any form of coercion.
If someone reaches a spiritual level from which he cannot advance through his own means, only then, the person who is asked to help has the spiritual right to provide his advice.
In fact, some people who have their convictions, be they religious, ideological, or other, are trying to convince others just to reassure themselves about their own believes

As I commented about it in other of your pieces, sincerity in communication can't bring offense.
And as you say above "doivent éviter d'intimider l'autre" when exchange of ideas/opinions happens we should first and foremost respect the intellectuality of one another.
Le dialogue spirituel, the spiritual dialogue can only be achieved if there are two committed spirits.
