He lived in a small apartment overlooking the main railway station. It was there he had for many years created the characters for his books, some villans, others comedians, all had a style and a flair that would if they existed in real time, would need more than an apartment to live in.
So where do all these characters go when they are defunct,no longer employed in the proffesion for whih they were created. What actually hapens to them? Can it be that these figmant of imagination may actually have crossed over into a kind of reality. Stupid talk? well take a look at the numerous characters that have graced a writers mind that have become as real in real time as you could imagine.
Names that pop out of the real time closet, Mrs. Marples, Poiret, Sherlock Holmes. That later even has tourists visit his address in Baker Street London, which never existed. Suddenly a writer has given birth to a character that has assumed a real time ID tag, even Mickey Mouse has slipped through the net, been used on registration forms and been accepted as legal.
Will there come a time in the future when the writers mind may alter the perception of what really happened in the past? Of course not you might say, yet as archeology unearths fragments of the past world that existed how do we know what was truth or fiction, what was the figment of a writers mind or not.
Consider, if in our world Superman had never been created in Marvel Comics, but instead had been found written in fragments of ancient documents, might some speculate that, 'Did someone have such power and fly?'
