I hear you. It is big business like all the rest. We watched a show the other night about thalidomide, a 60 year old drug which is now being used for some forms of cancer. The drug company who manufactures it has increased their price by some 900% saying that it is for research and development. Hog wash, as you say. One fellow up here in the north got it from Mexico for $90.00 per month instead of the $4000.00 per month the company in the USA demands. I could go on but hey, why? The drug companies are at the master switch of any medical intervention. They reign supreme. J'nia
To bribe, in Argentina is to "grease" the palm of the hand, in Mexico is to get the "mordida", in Italy you need to give a "bustarella", in Norway you should practice the "bestikkelse", in Sweden it is mellifluously called the "muta", and Universally known as the way to maintain alive the Corruption!

"A Socially Needed Change Has Been Birthed!" You said it Tom! I'm so happy to see someone speaking out for what is right. Finally, we have a government that is For the People! Is it perfect? No, but it sure is a step in the right direction for a change.
Sheesh, Tom...Health Care Reform goes back nearly a century ago...when Teddy Roosevelt tried to bring it about! Just Whats The Problem, here?...good work, me boy!
