I don't believe in them.
The dictionary needs to redefine coincidences to be "items that are completely related to each other but no one wants to believe it." Sort of like Sherlock Holmes' take on the impossible. To poorly paraphrase: When the impossible has been eliminated, then what is left no matter how improbable is the truth. Coincidences, to me, are impossible so no matter how improbable it seems, there is a connection.
Example: bats are dying in hibernation, btk in some form has been sprayed in the areas near the caves of the hibernating bats........think about it.......somehow, someway, by my definition of coincidence, there is a connection.
