Yes Folks - it is a TEN! The REALISM captured in this film tugs at your ‘heart-strings.’

Unwanted - morbidly obese - physically abused - sexually abused - verbally abused ... raped by her own father, producing a poor Mongoloid baby ... treated like a slave by her own drug-addicted, lazy, nasty mother ... raped again, producing a second baby via incest ... this young teenager is the absolute epitome of Hopelessness!

Yet, her strength of character, sheer will-power, and the help and love given by one teacher, and a small class of similar ‘losers’ - pull her out of the depths of despair and ultimately, shows the world that there is a bright glimmer of HOPE which survives through all of her obstacles and adversities.

Perhaps pure ‘Hollywood’? But, Believable!

After you watch this film, be certain to watch each and every Special Feature!

Understanding How - the book ‘PUSH’ became the movie ‘PRECIOUS’ is truly informative.

CAUTION: Foul language in many of the scenes is so strong as to be shocking, and maybe even offensive - BUT - without it, the story would have to have been ‘Sugar-Coated!’
