"Dialogue," Celebrity Firebrand Lesbian Novelist Sage Sweetwater says, "allowing the characters to fully develop with the end result being a change, a transformation in that character's life" is the formula for success in writing a movie script.

You've got to have a powerful story that captivates an audience. You've got to have unforgettable characters who connect with an audience, characters who your audience can identify with, characters  with which the audience can empathize. And most will, because they have very similiar dramatic episodes going on in their own lives. A successful film script understands about the nature of successful drama, a surprising or moving conclusion.

To impose a "false epiphany" is deadly in both the film script and in one's life to false living. Do it and  there will be casualties, and heartbreak. Natural dramatic instinct must incite emotion in the audience.

For every movie script that fits some sort of formula, there will be many more which break all the rules. Sage Sweetwater's lesbian Western film scripts break all the rules. And for good reason. Mediocre film scripts have very little chance of being picked up by a producer.

On her screenwriting process, Sage Sweetwater says "Never inhibit your dramatic instinct or your artistic, creative abilities. Just like in formulas which apply to right living as well, the script needs an intriguing story, engaging characters and compelling dialogue. That equates to passion, persistence and self-belief." Just as in one's life, these things will take a screenwriter a lot further than "false epiphany," wrong living's ghost pulling you into negative patterns. You'll see it in the mirror when your "forest" reflection peers back at you leering like a rabid wolf foaming at the mouth about to sink in its incisors and shred your creativity leaving behind blood, sweat and tears. It's self-destruction at its worst.

Sage Sweetwater writes film scripts to change her characters lives. Her characters all have religious, political, social, personal and environmental issues that need resolved. You can bet by the end of the film, Sage Sweetwater has her characters transformed in a positive light. "I write alchemical film scripts," Sage says. "There must be change, transformation in my storylines. I can't or won't do it any other way. Jung is with me all the way through these scripts along with the ancient alchemistry master Paracelsus.
