Taking a shower is easy to put off when depressed. Here's how to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Bathe or take a shower, whichever you prefer.  The important thing to remember is that your body builds up bacteria colonies in 24 hour cycles (gross, I know.)  That's why it's necessary to wash and wear a clean change of clothes every day.

If you are feeling down, this can be an easy step to skip, but it's almost equally easy to take that sept and feel better al day into the evening because of it.  No one likes to be around a smelly individual.  Even if you live alone, you'll feel better after cleaning up.

Set an egg timer for just six minutes.  Turn on the water, jump in and whash your hair and smelly parts (you know where they are) with soap, rinsing well.

Be sure to get behind the ears, as bacteria and dead skin can build up there too.  You might want to foego using soap on your face if it isn't really oily; water generally works quite well there by itself.

Once the timer dings, you can towel off.  Then do the other stuff, brush teeth, comb hair, etc. before you dress.  After everything else is done, reward yourself by doing a little something extra, like adding perfume, cologne, or lipstick.
