A review of a horror movie that is made all the more disturbing by the lack of blood and guts.
Never Let Me Go, a low budget British film reviewed here is a quiet, unthreatening sort of movie on the surface but the underlying horror of the dystopian vision depicted in the story of three pupils at a rather old fashioned English boarding school is all the more scary for the stillness and and genteel good manners.
When the ultimate fate of the trio and their fellow pupils is revealed it is all the more shocking for the knowledge that they young people are so calm and so unquestioning even though they are aware of what lies ahead.
And still more shocking when one recalls that scientists and doctors are very close to making this vision real.
In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
