My Friend
Somewhere
In the mist
Along those ventures
Of my time
Within fields
Chasing the wind
As he tumbled
Tumbled with my mind
Always a comfort and the sign
Invisibly
My shadow
Walking with me
A friend
Crossing similarities
Silent and yet
Ever so present
Emotionally
Wiping away fears
Crying the same tears
Accepting decisions
Of my unforgiving mistakes
Somewhere
Within that mist
He lay’s with me
And my indecisions
Wondering
Of those same questions
From chasing tumbleweeds
To falling
And praying
On our knees
Gasping
For realization
Reaching out
With starvation
Breathing in
Those reservations
And still
He comforts me
With those signs
My friend
Who I lose
At times
