I am only one in 350 million Americans. ObamaCare is just a nickname, but the official name is the Affordable Healthcare Act .
The president said, “I am sorry,” but meanwhile a lot of damage has occurred. I believe he could still say it differently if he intended to heal the wound made to millions of American citizens.
He should still say, “My fellow Americans, I know that many of you were hurt with my explanation, ‘If you like your insurance and you want to keep it, you keep it and if you want to keep your doctor, you keep him and no one will take it from you. Period.’
”Today I say, sorry for not having said these words. As I see that many didn’t understand my words or my words were not explicit enough, I feel sorry for all those, because this lack of clarity from my side. I feel bad and again I am sorry that much damage was made and many saw their insurance cancelled by their insurers as we omitted to tell you what we wrote to the insurance companies.
“We wrote that if the insurance did not include maternity care or other items which are included in the ObamaCare requirements, your insurance will not be accepted. Our mistake is that we did not ask you, the insurances companies, to inform your customers about these changes. Your customers have to adjust their insurance with the above mentioned missing items and accommodate themselves with the price relevant to these changes.
“As I, the President of this administration consider this error the responsibility of this government to come up with the difference in price, needed for this adjustment, irrelevant whether the customers want to return to their previous insurance or accept the new insurance, ObamaCare with these new items with should have been added to the original insurance, from now on, any damage occurred due to my mistake will be at this government’s charge.
“Furthermore I ask all the insurance companies involved to alleviate this error and to help the insureds to be satisfied. Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of my government and all personnel involved in this matter, I say I apologize to all of you. I also apologize to all Americans and hope that no damage is done to anyone involved or to our credibility.”
