A Moment of Truth

One wonders why the political situation in the world has worsened. The simple answer is: when the population of a large country like the United States has chosen an idealist and someone who believes neither in the strength nor in the progress of his country where he was born and his people, although they have given him a well-founded education, thousands could not achieve in this rich and famous country, there is something wrong. Among these people, where the family of his mother has received and nurtured him, this president, despite all the faults which he complains about, could nevertheless manage to rise. One could only expect this youth, who grew up with his grandparents and his mother, to do wonders and eventually he managed to become an American constitution lawyer. In my view, the United States went through a lot of experiences since the beginning of its existence. World War II caused the American people to develop their true strengths. Despite all the kinks right and left of some president, the American people were united and had shown strength, courage and determination, more than any country in the world. They were able, within a minimum amount of time to produce hundreds of aircraft, hundreds of ships and the necessary tools for the war, such as thousands of tanks, guns, mortars, machine guns and rifles etc., etc. They also found out how to break the secrets of the Japanese and Germans. Even more, the young Americans in the universities were active in all areas. The Americans not only fought, but after the war they had done everything to help the Germans and all Europeans, as well as the Japanese straightening their economies. For all those people who were discouraged, starved and no longer had any production, the Americans had continued to work after the war. They have managed to turn everyone around and have succeeded to make friends of enemies and the most productive became allies, working with the United States and following the path that it had traced for them. This is to say that our president, not to criticize him, has an excellent philosophy regarding wars. He prefers not get into wars. I found this to be a great philosophy, but unfortunately it is not realistic nowadays, when we live in a world that does not have the same philosophy. This is not an attitude for a commander-in-chief, as he bears the responsibility for a great nation. For example, when in Syria thousands of human beings were massacres and continue to be killed, the president did not want to interfere. But alas, seeing that the United States moved away from the war, Islamist forces without scruples and without any humanitarian spirit have mingled for years and Syria has become the slaughter field for human beings. As more than one hundred thousand people were killed in Syria, Islamist groups felt that if they could mingle with the killing, they could make their dream of occupying the Arab lands by killing Arab leaders and those who oppose terrorists. In the words of Netanyahu to American journalists: "What you have right now is this terrific conflagration in the Middle East. You have ISIS taking swaths of Iraq and Syria. It's now pushing into, right close to Lebanon and perhaps into Jordan. That's very, very dangerous and ISIS is basically a sister movement of al-Qaeda. You have Hezbollah, radical Shiites fighting radical Sunnis; you have Hamas . . .” and I would add: “Hamas, a terrorist organization” I wondered whether our President Obama is aware of what is happening in this world, with all the Islamist groups taking over the world, while we as Americans are in the same dreams as our president? It is time that Americans realize what’s going on, before it is too late. We do not want to fall into the dreams of our young President Barak Hussein Obama. If I were to advise Mr. Netanyahu, I would say, “Do not listen to the UN or to our president, who does not know what is happening and who is perhaps biased, because Qatar is a friend of the United States and Qatar trying to help Hamas. Together with Turkey, the two countries do not want to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization. Besides Hamas is recognized as such by the United States government. Netanyahu should do what he has to do to save his country and his people. As for the Palestinians, they should get rid of Hamas, if they want to be independent and happy. I am convinced that the Israelis will help them to accomplish this task. As for my President Obama, to cap it all, just today it was announced that the United States has just blocked sending Hellfire air-to-surface anti-armor missiles to Israel while simultaneously a substantial sale of arms to Turkey and Qatar was also announced. They want to tell me that the Obama Administration is not currently indirectly helping Muslim Brotherhood, knowing that Hamas is the child of that organization? Today I say to my president, I cannot do otherwise, because I have all my family and me, who are descendants of Israel and besides, I think you are being unfair, while more than two million Jews and their friends voted for you. Alas, at my age of 83, as I cannot commit myself to the Israeli army to help my people, I write this with full awareness. I survived the Second World War and I do not want to see my family or my Jewish people suffer more. You should know that you touch a people that have been beaten for centuries by the Romans and the Europeans. But they will be even stronger in order to survive and it is the United States that will lose their ability and intelligence.
