So who are our real enemies today? They are not only the visible ones, but the invisible ones also; the demons, the angels who have fallen from their previous state and, being envious of our gifts, try to tear us from each other. We really know better than to fear these ones, for by the sign of the cross alone, we scourge the demons and are victorious.
We must totally understand the fact that the war against peace was first a war against unity, for peace is impossible without it. Just for one example, look at the Israeli/Palestinian situation. This ought not to be.
In this war against peace, we must fight not to win the war, but to win the peace; for only by winning the peace do we ever truly win the war. And most of the time we win battles on our knees in prayer.
Remember these two verses:
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matthew 5: 9).
"My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you" (John 14: 27).
