A person who keeps 'Company' with you is a Companion.

A 'Buddy' or a 'Pal'.
She, or He, may be Married to you,
Or a Soul-Mate, or even a Sex-Mate.

It could be a Friend, that you have known for many years ...
Or a Stranger you just met on a Plane, Train, or Bus,
And you merely Converse with, while being transported somewhere.

He, or She, may be a "Drinking Buddy" ...
That you mutually Confide in, and or, Console with ...
As in "Misery Loves Company!"
Hell - could be the Bartender, or Barmaid even!

The Lone Ranger's 'Faithful Companion' was Tonto, an Indian.
Batman had Robin.
Cagney had Lacey.
Romeo had Juliet.
Cleopatra had Julius Caesar ...
And ... Mark Antony ...
And ... Lord knows, how many Others?

Prior to All of Them ... Samson had Delilah ...
Then later, Tom Jones had "Delilah" ...
Later yet, The Grateful Dead had "Samson & Delilah" !

COMPANIONSHIP ?

How about a Companion Who:

Loves to Receive Back Rubs ... But ... Never Gives Any?
One you Spend Money to Feed ...
Three Days a Week ... for Eight Years ...
But, Never Reciprocates?

Never Prepares a Dinner at Her/His Home?
Creates, and Acts Out, Too Much Drama ...
Never, Ever Apologizes?

Has Absolutely No Clue, and Apparently, Does Not Care ...
How Much Money You Spend on Her/Him?

Is Obviously Jealous, when you spend Time With Others ...
Especially Family Members ...
Especially During Annual Holidays?

DUH ?

Does this sound a Tad "One-Sided"?
Is there any "Redeeming Merit"?

SUPPOSE THE 'SEX' IS GREAT ?
