Published at age 11 at St Thomas the Apostle Grade School in South Minneapolis in the Civil Rights issues and the Underground railroad!
1964 is his first year at SJU where he had Reverend Coleman Barry and Dorothy Day for Mentors!
Transfers to the University of Minnesota where the becomes a founding member of Students for a Democratic Society!
Graduates from the University of Minnesota in 1968 with a Triple major in history and social studies and education.
