I am 71 years old. My platform to the world is from my 2 room apartment. Sometimes my platform is even, in particular, my bathroom where I often go to have prayer(closets are stuffed(-:). With no efforts of my own, I have reached more people from this common God ordained place than many would or will ever reach in an entire liefetime with all their own exhausted efforts.
I am perfectly kept by God for His purpose. My 'voice' whether singing, reading or written... inspires and lifts to the ends of the world because God says so. I am, at last, aware that The Creator is entirely in control of my life, each breath...is His.
I don't believe there is anywhere that I can go where I am not known or immediately recognized. Limelight? I am there. Fame? I am there. Well kept and provided for, I am in need of nothing, but more faith and trust in Jesus who has come to mean so much to me but, indeed, should mean so much more.
I am an imperfect instrument continuously chisled and kept by the mercy and grace of Almighty God for His express purpose alone. My mistakes and my shortcomings testify to the fact that God does not use 'perfect' people because there are none. He uses people like you and me.
I rest in this and I thank God that He made me 'simple'. And by that I mean, I've have never, really, pined for great things but for the greatest thing... love. It took some years for me to realize it was all wrapped on in one package...God.
Thus, we, as instruments of God, are all 'called' in different ways. Be satisfied in how God chooses to use you. Fathers, you are shouldered with a great responsibility; you are the head, first and foremost, of your your family and your home...do it! Mothers, you don't have to write great books and give luctures on parenting. So, if God calls you in this capacity or not, just pray and be as good a mother as you can be to your children....do it! Wives, with no 'perfect way' as to how to do it, honor and respect your husbands giving to them the unique love God has given you...just do it! We don't need a choir-stand in a church to sing, whether God puts you there or not...do it! We don't need a pulpit to spread the Word of God, thus... if God gives you one or not...do it! We don't need to be seen or heard by thousands to be effective, so...whatever God leads you to do ...do it! Whatever it is and wherever it is that God places you...be content with your Platform. Be content to carry out your Service to God.
Do not allow 'green' worms to spoil your golden apples. Don't mimic and try to be like others, mimic Jesus. Try to walk in His footsteps as best as humanly possible and if you fail, don't give up - try again...and again.

Although we have not met face-to-face, we have met through your inspirational writings...your Platform. For many years I have turned to your writings for encouragement and spiritual nourishment. You are right when you say you have communicated th, a number I shall not guess, from your home. You are using your God-ordained gifts wisely.
