I am the King of Overthinking

Headline

Psychologists Explain How To Stop Overthinking Everything

“Overthinking can lead to serious emotional distress and increase your risk of mental health problems.”

Pardon Moi for overthinking, but do they not say the same thing? Where I come from “Serious emotional distress” IS a “mental health problem.” That ship has already sunk.

“How do I know?” you ask. Have you not heard of my xwife? I will go no further on that subject for fear of overthinking her, when in fact I do not even want to Think about her at all.

Actually I am the King of Overthinking. If there were a realm I would be Lord of it. I often think about that?

It is not always my fault.

Take eggs for instance. I try not to think about them, but there they are, every morning sizzling in my frying pan. How can you not think of things right before your eyes?

I think, therefore I thunk!

The egg subject is becoming more and more complex.
Note…Is it not amazing how adding another more makes more more than more alone?

As previously stated I’ve been buying JUMBO size eggs. They are really big, and if bad for you, as some say, my days remaining are dwindling fast.
But who cares, Right?

Today I discovered an egg beyond Jumbo size. It was huge! Definitely the Alpha Chicken of the dozen, if it wasn’t already dead.
I would hate to have met it while it was alive.
I had just received a double yoke yesterday and realize they very seldom travel together, but this mammoth chicken shell was certainly ideal for harboring yet another set of twins.

With two hands I cracked it open! Sadly, there was only one yoke.
But it was the biggest yoke I ever saw. If that egg would have hatched it would have been Baby Huey.

I threw it down the drain and my garbage disposal sounded like it was going to stall. The pipes shook! Weird sounds gurgitated in the smoke.

Here is something interesting. I was not sure of the spelling of gurgitated, so I looked it up. It is not there. It is not a word.
However, regurgitated is there. How can there be a “re” of a word that does not exist? That is reweird?

If I’d have eaten it all my arteries would have clogged and hardened by tomorrow.

The next egg was normal jumbo size and looked small compared to the other one. This contained the yoke I would scramble and eat.
But there were two of them!
Can You Believe it! Somebody pinch me I must be dreaming!
The huge egg that certainly could have had two yokes, only had one, while this regular egg had two.

This was two double yokes in two days! That could be a record and there are still six eggs left in the carton.

I do not want to overthink this, but I think I should call Guinness.

Penwose Out,

I don't think about my ex-wife that all. But now that you made me think of her, I did.

And I don't think of eggs at all. But every morning I wake up with a craving for a dozen eggs and end up eating only one every other day, sensibly.

Incidentally there is a size of eggs that is larger than huge… Ostrich… But I wouldn't stick my head in that one.
