I say…The only reason for Perspective is so everything does not come together all at once.
Perspective is the doctrine that makes things in the distance look smaller. It is not imaginary, it is real. It is not a delusionary figment.
A fellow with a big head would do well to distance himself from others.
A train in the distance looks very small, but without perspective we would be leaping out of the way.
With perspective we wonder how the train arrived at all since the distant tracks seemed to come together? That was a necessary illusion caused by perspective so that the little train could run on them.
I looked for a definition of perspective and found nothing suitable for my perspective of it. This is the best I could find…

Most conversations tend to deal with artistic views and architectural angels.
The fact is Perspective is the only scientific law of nature found throughout the universe. Otherwise the stars would block out the Sun, which in turn would block out the stars, which in turn would block out the train previously mentioned.
Perspective is not merely the way the eye sees it. It is the way it is.
Things in the distance really are smaller, and get bigger as we approach them.
