I find this gratifying.

Tonight’s movie lineup is dotted with movies we have all seen hundreds of times or more. Nothing new is coming out these days so network executives are forced to show the same old stuff, over and over and over. In truth they are hoping that no one watches their network and will see the old reruns as new when they do.

Many have come up with clever ways to mask their repetitivenesses, such as airing McClintock on Tuesday one week, and not again till Thursday of the next week. They also do not run the same commercials, except for the ones they always do. Apparently they see their audiences as rather easily confused. I for one am not one of those.

One of tonight’s movies, which I have long since tired of, but now find “watchable,” is The Body Snatcher.
Dr. Toddy MacFarlane needs cadavers for his medical experiments, however, they are not easy to come by, so he enlists the help of taxi driver Mr. Gray (Boris Karloff) and his assistant, Joseph (Bela Lugosi), to dig up bodies from the cemetery.

It is men such as these, along with Frank and Stein, who pioneered the medical profession to new heights and made surgeries, such as I’ve just experienced, possible. I find this film particularly gratifying.

Also Tonight Marlon Brando is alive once again galloping across our Tele screens in One-Eyed Jacks. A fine film the first hundred or so times but hard to watch thereafter. I believe I will be somewhere else.

A few questions come to mind to those who think they have seen it enough. Without looking at a deck of cards, tell us which Jacks have only one eye?
Which eyes are they? Are they the same in both Jacks?
Does a Two Eyed-Jack beat a One-Eyed Jack?
Does a One-Eyed Jack and a Two-Eyed Jack, beat a pair of Two Eyed-Jacks?
