The Stop the Steal rally--what really happened according to actual witnesses on the ground at the Capitol on Wednesday.

Virginia Democrat Senator Tim Kaine wasted no time taking to local news and social media via video conference to echo disreputable national networks in blaming President Trump and his supporters for inciting violence at the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday. This, they did not do, according to actual participants of the Stop the Steal rally.

Mentioning the blatant hypocrisy of Democrats and their news media cheerleaders has become tedious and cumbersome. But it’s worthy of notice that Senator Kaine had no criticism for his friend and colleague, Barack Obama, who inspired Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa militants to commit real violence and mayhem in many major U.S. cities, both during and after his tenure in the White House. And Kaine would likely hope we’d forget that his own son was arrested during a violent confrontation at a Trump rally in Minneapolis in 2016.

Many who attended the Stop the Steal rally—organized to protest voter fraud in the November elections—were warned in advance that there could be trouble. ACT for America president, Brigitte Gabriel informed Trump supporters days ahead of the event that BLM and Antifa militants were leaving Portland and Seattle for Washington DC for the rally and would be wearing MAGA hats in order to blend in. Gabriel warned attendees to be especially aware of their surroundings.

A friend who attended the Trump rally told me that the day “began peacefully with prayers, songs, and patriotic chants. It was very typical of ALL Trump events,” he said. “I saw 4 or 5 young guys, dressed in black, but wearing MAGA hats. They walked by us with skateboards, and in five years of attending Trump events, I’ve never seen a Trump supporter with a skateboard.” My friend told a bystander, “That is Antifa.”

He said that one of suspects shouted as he walked by, “Come on, let’s storm the Capitol!” Fortunately, no Trump supporters were following them.

Another eyewitness, a retired Special Forces Sergeant Major, related, “The rally was calm, reserved, tears flowed, the people love their president but more so, they love their country. They were introspective.” The Sergeant Major said that he spoke with Iranian, French, German, and Chinese Trump supporters. “On the opposite side, I watched Capitol police fire pepper balls, mace, and CS (pepper spray) into a crowd that was standing, not aggressive. As far as I’m concerned, the police were the aggressors.”

“When the 40 to 100 punks that showed up, who got off four different charter buses, made their way forward, it looked like the police let them in, almost as if for a guided tour. Some MAGA people followed that bunch in, but were not the instigators. It looked choreographed to me,” reported the Army veteran.

Wednesday evening, news anchors from all three major networks expressed their disgust, without facts or witness accounts. At length, they lodged bitter condemnations against President Trump and the patriots who attended the Stop the Steal rally. These same professional journalists offered no condemnation, nor even much criticism of BLM and Antifa goons who rioted in U.S. cities early last year. In fact, those riots, which resulted in the deaths of numerous innocent civilians and police, along with burned and looted buildings, were uniformly described as “mostly peaceful” despite witness accounts to the contrary.

Members of Congress from both political parties echoed the distorted media condemnations of the violence, failing to distinguish between instigators and rally participants, some of whom, simply followed along to see what was happening. Congressmen and Senators commenting from the safety of the House and Senate chambers, also failed to acknowledge their own negligence in allowing the rights of the people to be stolen by governmental fiat, and failed to accept any responsibility for their own false and incendiary remarks made against the president and his supporters throughout the past four years.

With non-stop news coverage disseminated at the speed of light, a lie can now compass the world before the truth leaves the harbor. But once truth arrives, it appears with blinding clarity.

For all the sanctimonious remarks from members of Congress, they have failed. They have failed  to represent the people with honor and integrity. Many have used their offices to enrich themselves. Some have even committed crimes with impunity, which is no secret to anyone.

But when the people’s government turns its power against those they’ve sworn to represent, protect, and defend, whether in the chambers of the Capitol building, the Supreme Court, the White House, or any government agency, as we have seen with the abuses of the NSA, FBI, DOJ, and CDC, the cries of the disloyal ring dissonant.

Great social changes that begin peacefully with a noble cause or justified grievance, occasionally require violence to implement. The American Revolution and the Civil War followed this path. And while most of us desire that the Make America Great Again campaign can avoid this course, that decision is largely dependent upon the actions or failures of state and federal governments and the courts, and not the citizens who have been robbed, maligned, and cheated.

Here in America, wrong cannot be permitted to perpetually triumph. For this reason, the suggestion that there is no place for violence to establish righteousness or to reclaim stolen Constitutional freedom is as foolish and it is cowardly.
 
Thomas Jefferson is quoted to have said, “We need a revolution every 20 years just to keep government honest.” If that is true , America may be long overdue.
