Only a noble and courageous people can be free; only a righteous people deserve to be.

The question is on the minds of many today. What most of us really want to know is, Can the United States be salvaged in a form that will be recognizable as the free nation, however flawed, that it has been—dedicated to the right use and enjoyment of liberty? If not, we might well ask, Should the United States be saved?

While most of the news media is focused on COVID-19 variants and other distractions, abortion remains the number-one cause of death in the world today, surpassing war, famine, and all diseases. (Worldwide COVID-19 deaths are nowhere close, nor ever will be.) America has put to death nearly 63 million people under the deceitful moniker, reproductive freedom. Human history and common knowledge testify that no nation can long survive that so callously and effectively slaughters its own young.

Leadership by inspiration has been replaced with rule by manipulation, as a cursory examination of Joe Biden’s initial volley of executive orders demonstrates. One of the first orders signed by Biden reestablishes taxpayer-funding of abortion, or, as Democrats like to call it, “protecting women’s health.” The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is now compromised; divided in purpose between funding the destruction of human life and addressing actual public health concerns.

Another order claims to “restore public trust through evidence-based policy-making.” In duplicity that is stunning for its transparency, the order is followed by another aimed at “tackling climate change;” that beloved leftist issue attributed to causes for which no valid scientific evidence exists. The U.S. government will now develop a climate finance plan, meaning that citizens will pay more precious resources to battle the dubious climate crisis.

The highly-popular US-Mexico border wall—necessary for enforcement of immigration law—has been de-funded by a Biden order which characterized it as “a waste of money” and “not a serious policy solution.” Barack Obama’s highly-controversial DACA policy will be expanded. All deportations have been suspended for 100 days. The dangerous policy of catch-and-release at the southern border will soon resume, if catching is not also suspended.

Rounding-out the menu of destructive executive actions is the repudiation of gender. A new Biden executive order seeks to compel acceptance of bizarre forms of gender expression under federal law by enjoining sinful choices to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In so doing, children and adults are now stripped of civil protections previously provided by restricted access to restrooms, locker rooms and dressing areas. Women and children will now be subjected to voyeurs and predators of all sorts under the banner of civil rights.

The coalition of Democrats and dishonest media journalists, has succeeded in its vicious four-year-long campaign against President Trump. Court challenges to COVID-based vote-stealing practices have been dismissed out-of-hand without evidentiary hearings or trials. Joe Biden has been installed in the White House. So why are Democrats still not satisfied? Because the truth is known by too many witnesses.

Just as an entire nation knew that O.J. Simpson was guilty of murder despite a seemingly-lawful jury verdict to the contrary, people to whom truth overrules mere opinions will not be dissuaded by threats, endless streams of media lies, or cunningly crafted rationalizations.

Inauguration Day marked a striking reversal in media coverage of the White House. As quickly as flipping a light switch, news reporting shifted from open hostility to zealous defense. The Biden-Harris acting company will require many blockers, line-backers and dishonest referees to pull-off the comedic tragedy that is playing out in the capitol stadium. Will disinterested masses remain ignorant until the gates are locked and their fates sealed? Or, will a small group of patriotic fans take the field at the charge, “LET’S ROLL!”?   
           
The fact that the United States is a constitutional republic and not a democracy, is an odious foreign concept to many millions of young voters. For them, the U.S. Constitution is neither understood nor appreciated, so it becomes an insignificant obstacle to be submitted to their amoral political preferences. Emerging socialist-democrat policies present an existential threat to the structure of the American republic. They are not being taken seriously by Republicans or a gullible, COVID-19 manipulated public.  

Only a noble and courageous people can be free and only a righteous people deserve to be. The question of whether or not the United States can be saved or should be saved, will ultimately be answered, as it has ever been, by the noble passion for freedom and willing sacrifices of honorable people.
 
In the meanwhile, Democrats and their Republican collaborators can be confident that patriots and faithful conservatives will offer Joe Biden the same respect and that they afforded to President Trump.
