Don't wanna talk about philosophy.
I don't care what you believe.
I know you think you've got it all worked out,
but I see something up your sleeve.

that gets me out on the floor.
Something that makes me want to move my feet
'cause that's what rock and roll is for.

I wanna listen to the Moondog Radio.
It tells me what I want to hear.
Just wanna listen to the Moondog Radio.
It makes everything so crystal clear.

I wanna listen to the Moondog Radio
in the middle of the night.
Just wanna listen to the rock and roll radio.
It makes everything all right.

Don't wanna talk about religion.
Don't wanna hear about your God.
I know that stuff makes lots of sense to you,
but to me it just sounds odd.

the sound of anger, joy, and tears.
A sound that takes me to some distant star
and helps to drive away my fears.
It helps to chase away my fears.

Don't wanna talk about your politics.
I don't care who you voted for.
Don't wanna hear how bad the other guys are
or what you think about the war.

I wanna know that I can feel something.
That's how I know that I am free.
That's how I know that I am free.

Don't wanna talk about... Don't wanna talk about...
I don't wanna... I don't wanna...
No!  No!  No No No No!

I don't want your phoney baloney!
I don't need your phoney baloney!
I don't want your phoney baloney!
I don't want your! I don't want your!

I don't want your phoney baloney!
I don't need your phoney baloney!
I don't want your phoney baloney!
I don't want your! I don't want your!

Yeah!  Yeah!  Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah!

I wanna listen to the Moondog Radio.
It tells me what I want to hear.
Just wanna listen to the Moondog Radio.
It makes everything so crystal clear.

I wanna listen to the Moondog Radio
in the middle of the night.
Just wanna listen to the rock and roll radio

This is as good as it gets these days: A glass of whiskey in the middle of the night
and the best collection of music videos you'll ever find anywhere. *

* Lately I've been sitting in the dark with a glass of Canadian whiskey
(screw the Trump supporters) listening to my Country/Rock playlist.
(The perfect mixture of Country and Rock, fun songs and sad songs.)
Where would I be without Gram Parsons, Mike Nesmith, Nanci Griffith?
To the next best thing to suicide,
the second best thing to sex. 🥃
