Day of the Holocaust
by Maria Cristina Azcona

Thursday, May 05, 2005
Rated "G" by the Author.

DAY OF THE HOLOCAUST

I want my word to  be the wind

where crying  dead for millions

Could  live in the wings of songs.

Although on time to time some bloody one

try to diffuse a thought

(that more than a  thought is a  violation

to the right of one or of millions,

their right to live without a lament)

that has left in the history, human inheritance

of swastikas and of desolation

that  is indignant  to whom  professes decency

Gas that wounds our heart

will not be able to put our conscience to sleep

but for sure it will be  peace in our songs

translation to French by

Maggie de Coster (France)

Je veux que ma parole soit vent

Ou cris de morts par millions

S'éternisant dans les ailes des chansons.

Même si  de temps en temps

Quelque sanguinaire

Poetry is the voice of Man, composed by thoughts from the minds of compassion, and justice, who are saddened they must sing the songs of the Murdered.

This Poet has spoken, the world should open their ears, and listen with their hearts.
