Polar opposites find point of understanding.

We are two souls, lightning rods
spanning Earth, swaddled by sky,
who found strength to stand
and hold creative tension.

Between us, stretched taut: a net,
field of grace, electrified
with Love, infinite
in glorious expansion.

Pole to pole, they may equate
our stance with bold defiance.
In this shift, we dance,
sing out, “Kyrie eleison.”

Tender hearts reside within,
shadowed by brilliance between.
We’ve gone mute in time,
a practiced elocution.

Beat breaks forth in song, truth shines,
piercing through smooth-surfaced steel.
Black hole of wonder:
our right of reinvention.

We dare to move to center,
point by point and counterpoint,
embrace seed of faith
found now in revelation.

Love this ode to the relationship of polar opposites whose nature more than attacts, Dawn! Definitely a case in point where their sum total far exceeds their worth combined. Can feel the lightning strike in your descriptors and the energy in your lines is tangible. So good to read you again after all this time! Please do stay for a while. xx

A beautiful expression of compromise. Why should we polarize when compromise solves the problem?
