Ah, my dearest friend... how beautiful this is - wistfully beautiful, I should say, in its combination of sweet acknowledgement and conscious reminder. Youth and beauty... the glorious blossom, ever oblivious of the natural truth - that it really is but the earlier face of the flower that whithers and falls to the ground... where it becomes the earlier face of the seed. And now, that you made me think about it... ;0) - isn't the true beauty in, precisely, this? - young becomes old -> becomes newborn again.

A timeless poem. 'Alas, alas, 't was ever so!' And will continue to be. Amusing but sorrowful; and all too true. And you certainly are a top-notch wordsmith.
