SMOKE ON THE WATER
so what if there is smoke on the water
a fuming wrath that drifts un-netted
burns up life before our very eyes
our well-spring stopped so we shall never drink again
we send our silver men to waterless planets
to drill for knowledge we look to the future
yet liquid rock in gutted repulsion
spews back at what we have done
our earth sign revolts Taurus has blazing nostrils
and tilts his horn to plentiful revenge El Toro brings down
his steaming iron hoof his black-scorching punishment
all-consuming with ire's flame
three poetic gods in one ... a trinity of idea born from the ether of silver men ...

I believe that, in my realm of awareness,
this is a first.

For me it doesn't matter which way I read, down or across or both, it all makes sense...not logic but heart and gut sense because the images are of a mind.. and you, well you are something else.
Marvellous!

I am going to try to do one of these, it will be quite interesting to say the least...I will go one step further as you stated and make the two separate themes and see if the one as a whole works as a third separate theme. Okay I have too much time on my hands..lol
Thank you, my sweet Kate for being such a beautiful soul and spirit sister..especially today!
Peace, love and light,

What a challenge you have pushed past, fabulous sleek poems, each allowing the other's presence to spring up, none violating the other...all passionate and sharp words.
This is a prize, how on earth is it done?!
Blessings,
Christine
