Born in New York, now living in Las Vegas. Influenced by my mother, whose tenacity and strength made me the woman that I am. I owe her everything.

Published first book of poetry, "The Soul of a Black Woman:From a Whisper to a Shout" in 2002. Took time off from writing to raise a family. Currently working on scripts for several film and television projects.
