Nicola is from Dublin, Ireland, Where she studied drama and dance. She has suffered through depression etc. and uses her writing to help cope with this. She is also heavily influenced by music, especially bands such as Evanescence and Tokio Hotel. She is a member of new band Enchanted Devilish Girls, for which she sings and writes songs. She is also a regular singer at Live Music Cafe, Cavan, where she now lives with her parents and her cat. Hurt, is her first book of poetry.
