My two biggest influences are George Carlin and Muhammad Ali. My favorite authors of poetry are Shel Silverstein, Kenn Nesbitt, and John Ciardi. I also like a well written song. Some of my favorite songwriters are... John Prine, Jackson Browne Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, And many others, to numerous to mention. I believe that poetry should be fun to read.  I hope that what I write will make you smile.  

I placed 3rd in a local poetry contest and have been published in Waynessence Magazine and Orrviews newspaper.
