Writing a story is an exciting experience for me. I think of a situation or an historical event where normal associated happenings lead to the development of an adventure . Studying the realism and accuracy of my story leads to the unusual and interesting content. For me, that is the key to my enjoyment of what I’m writing, because it brings reading entertainment to me time after time. Some of my books, I’ve read three and four times and I can’t believe that I wrote some of the stories. I guess you’d say I’m self possessed or weird in my thinking because I still enjoy the read every time. A year after writing, I can’t remember all the details and it’s my pleasure to go back and relive the story once again. I know that I’ve always been a reading fan and anytime I feel compelled to reread some one else’s work, then I admire that writer because they’ve added something to life that can be enjoyed over and over for decades to come. Not from a selfish standpoint, I sincerely hope that some of my work will fit into that category. I’d love to think that people enjoy and are entertained by my work. That will be what I’m striving for. Writer satisfaction is far more important to me than money . Everyone that has read my stories were sincere in their praises for my work. Maybe not my command of proper expertise where sentence structure and format are correct though. All I can say is. As long as it’s readable, interesting and enjoyable , then all of that literary correctness don’t really mean a lot. In case you have trouble believing that; I refer you to all of the high selling Comic Books and the Sunday edition Comics page. Literary expertise just doesn’t exist there and it’s readable, interesting and enjoyable. I have to illustrate. It could be the most wonderful story ever written and may not have a single error in three hundred pages, but that doesn’t help if you’re English only and it’s written in Chinese. The most important part of writing, in my opinion, is that the work must be enjoyable and provide satisfaction and pleasure to the reader.     

Personal Honors include numerous Outstanding Performance Awards in my Aero Space Engineering Career which included 56 years at Edwards AFB. Provided Major Project Leadership support for Multiple experimental Aircraft programs including the Space shuttle. As an entertainer, I was a featured poet and country western performer for 33 years at the annual Death Valley Encampment Fair and for 24 years worked a summer gig at the Roaring Camp Gold Mining and Recreational Camp in Pine Grove Ca. Original song writer, performer and publisher of the Commerical, Album, Spirit of Roaring Camp and two gospel albums not to be sold, but given freely because God didn't charge me for the talent.

Recently published my auto biography entitled "Give Lefty a Call" my library of published works includes, 3 gold mining Bio adventures,15 Western Fiction Short story Collections and five full length novels for horse lovers and Rodeo fans. Recently published(would you believe) an auto biography of my Dachshund, entitled Zippa Slept Here. I have written and posted Over 160 poems for the free enjoyment of everyone visiting my page in Author's Den-humor is my tag, but I'm also a very easy loving and sincere person sharing my God given talents for everyone.
