Being the family Drama Queen, I was the only girl, I loved to perform.  Later, I started to create stories in my head.  I learned this from my grandmother who always made up stories for us.  Working with my brothers, we would make up plays and stories for the family.  They weren't very good, but my family enjoyed it, well they had to say that.  I would continue to make stories up in my head and sometimes on paper.  My brother and I would write back in forth.  His were fishing stories, usually the one that got away.  Mine were mystery with a bit of romance and a lot of humor.  Then my other brother introduced me to Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot.  I didn't like him at all.  But I did like Miss Marple.  As I got older, I love Poirot and hoped he would forgive me for my earlier views.  I was about 11 years old.  As I read and read, I would also make myself read classics, just for the brain.  Some I loved like Ivanhoe.  Some not so much.  I still loved the mysteries though.  I discovered Dorothy Sayer, Peter Lovesy and others with the list still growing.   Because I have been attactred to the British Authors, I would love to go to England someday and live there.  My family not so much.  They don't want to go back to the rain.  I love to write about people who don't normally solve crimes, like Delinda and Matty two married women in their thirties who love 'crime dramas'.  My next work is a very distant relative of the british monarchy.  (Made up by me not a real one)  I encourage you all to enjoy your stay.  I will be working on more short stories and be posting some poetry from my husband and maybe some of mine.  (Mine is to say the least, strange)  Thank you for stopping by and make sure to check out my other website.  Tami
