To be alive

What does it mean?

Many wonder

And many dream

I think of it

In many different views

It depends upon a person

And their many moods

Take the anger

A stands for Angry

L stands for livid

I stands for Irritated

V stands for vicious

E stands for Enraged

Then there is happiness

A stands for Amused

L stands for laughing

I stands for Invigorated

V stands for vivid

E stands for Eternal

How about the lonely

A stands for Alone

L stands for loser

I stands for Ignored

V stands for voiceless

E stands for Erased

I think we’ve all

Had one alive or another

That brings us together

Yet further apart

We must stay Alive

We must stay Awake

We must stay Linked

We must stay Loved

We must endure intolerance

We must endure ignorance

We must endure Violence

We must endure Viciousness

We can be excited

We can be enraged

We can be energized

 Because we are the human race
