For sale sign told

Economy named sinner

The church bell rung

The closed sign hung

Buy God Thee feels a winner

Yet somewhere deep

Dead feeling creep

Somehow we're all the thinner

* For 25 years once a month the First Metropolitan Church has fed the homeless a roast beef dinner. The last was served in 2015.
