Poem Artwork

When foolish hope
catch that glimmer of sun
among the icy shards of death.
The story gets re-written
time and time again .
Rollercoaster-ride
of hope and defeat.
Hear my prayer
dark angel of death
do not come this way.
On this day you are
banned.

I love it out here
death has no grip on me.
Gotta catch that thrill
even if it kills
me

Willing to chase the thrill and if need be, face death on your own terms. Enjoyed.

A real ‘dare devil’ then!
As long as you are trained and have the right equipment
it must be thrilling…not for me though…
I like my feet firmly on the ground!
That icy thrill is expressed vividly in your words…

A bucket list of excitement and risk. The cold, thin air, steepness and slipperiness make for one dangerous adventure that one cannot resist trying for the top.

For those who have not tried it, I highly recommend. But, like you, be physically fit and protect yourself with ropes, if necessary.

Indeed, beware. It's tricky business.
