Run little girl, run
As fast as you can
Away from hurt,
away from heart
Away from this pain
That sink its hard
Sharp teeth into
Your fragile soul
And the mountains
Of words left
said and unsaid
Rain its ashen flakes
Around you
Color you black
And
All you can taste
Is the sulphur as it
Melt on your tounge
Bright eyed and
Steadfast you walked
Towards what you knew
Would be execution
Never before have
Your Brown eyes
Been that blue
And never again
Will they be
I cast your shadow
From my sight
And even though
It is imprinted
In my soul
I shall not
Pay attention
To it anymore
For its wide open
Sore…. It Hurts
Bleeding over
The
Yesterdays
That
Could have been
As they
Lay scattered
Right
Where they fell
And where they will
remain
Now
Tell that to my
treacherous
Heart
It will hear no
Reason
Only serving
Treason
Bitter to the taste
