Poem Artwork

I fall into a deep, dark hole,
the bottomless pit that is my soul.
Where I embark on a perilous journey to explore,
the very depths of my inner core.
Sometimes I stumble and fall,
but then again, don't we all?
Today is no such day,
this journey will not lead astray.

As I wander through the landscapes of unknown,
I seek to purge and cleanse. Before I succumb
to the shriveled opinions of the petty and small.
The ones who think they stand tall,
risen above all.
The righteous who roam
the earth with sneering frown.

Beware he who lives in a confinement made of glass,
cause he should not throw stones on those who do not pass,
in the inspection of the narrow needles eye,
that through wich no one can spy.

Blessed is the the meek,
'cause they shall not speak
ill of their fellow human.
They shall look with eyes humane,
upon this world of many wonders.
And wonders they shall see,
wondrous they shall be.

Remember that none are without error,
be kind always, do not sow seeds of terror.
Be a pawn in the service of kindness,
not a domino bringing forth blindness.
If all else shall fail;
know that love will prevail.

Shine upon the world to spread the smiles of your heart,
pray that none shall be left from kin worlds apart.
You may be wicked in ways sneered upon,
as long as you plea to hurt no one.
You may think I put my self upon the highest pedestal,
that may be so, but this is my judgement call.
